Runs Very Small

Thick and warm and visually like the photos on the website, but runs very small. I usually wear a small or medium depending on the item, I ordered a medium in hopes that this would be just slightly roomy. But NO! I could hardly get it on and couldn't move my arms once I did get it on. I'm exchanging for an XL but I would probably go even bigger if they had one. I hope the XL is cozy instead of fitted :(
